Leaders and managers of the setting should have an accurate view of the quality of the provision and how to improve. This view should be summarised in their self-evaluation (SEF). Part of the Early Years Inspection includes the use of the SEF to evaluate how well a setting knows it's own strengths and weaknesses and how it can improve or maintain its high standards. Although each Barnies is essentially unique there is a shared culture between all the staff to provide a highly professional standard of service at all levels and an equality to deliver the Barnies ethos. The latest introduction summary to the SEF used by both settings is available to read here.
This Barnies is situated within the grounds of Hadlow Primary School, near Tonbridge, and has been registered since January 2004.
